Channel2Podcast ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by John Susek. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
We collect the minimum necessary to provide the service:
- Email address - collected when you create an account, used to identify your account and support your use of the service.
- Payment information - billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- YouTube channel URLs - the channels you add to your account, stored to generate your podcast feeds.
- Usage logs - basic server logs (errors, scan activity) for debugging. These are not linked to individual users.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and podcast feeds.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To support your account and respond when you contact us.
- To diagnose and fix technical problems.
Third-Party Services
We rely on the following third-party processors:
- Clerk - handles authentication and account management. See clerk.com/privacy.
- Stripe - handles payment processing. See stripe.com/privacy.
We do not sell your data to any third party.
Data Retention
Your account data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your application data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records held by payment providers).
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can also delete your account directly from the dashboard.
Cookies
We use cookies only as required by our authentication provider (Clerk) to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
